Meet The Team

Adam Cowen, Managing Director

Adam Cowen

Adam is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of TCA Partners.

He has over 20 years experience in advising companies on corporate strategy and corporate finance transactions including equity capital markets transactions, buy and sell side private and public mergers & acquisitions transactions and private equity investments.

Adam has previously worked with Linklaters, investment bank Collins Stewart (now Cannacord) and Wilson HTM and has a focus on the provision of advice to growth companies (<$100m EV).
Adam is a qualified non-practicing solicitor of the courts of England and Wales.

Ben Wilson, Managing Director

Ben Wilson

Ben is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of TCA Partners.

He has over 20 years experience in corporate finance, focusing on private company M&A. During this time Ben has advised on over 40 completed transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $3bn.

Ben commenced his corporate finance career with Clearwater International in London, before working for PwC in Sydney. Prior to founding Tor Corporate Advisory, Ben was a Partner at Deloitte where he led the M&A Advisory business in Queensland for 5 years.

Ben is a qualified chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and holds a B.A. Economics from the University of Manchester.

Jake Bathhurst, Director
Director

Jake Bathurst

Jake brings over a decade of experience and has specialised in corporate finance transactions, including private and public M&A and private equity investments.

Jake spent nearly 10 years with Deloitte, working in their M&A team across the UK and Australia. During this time, Jake advised on a significant number of transactions from small to mid-market acquisitions and divestments, through to large corporate carve-outs with deal sizes up to $3bn.

Additionally, Jake also spent a period of time outside professional services, leading the commercial finance team for the KFC brand at Collins Foods (ASX: CFL) and is a qualified chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland (ICAS).

Director

Eric Sengstock

Eric has over a decade of professional experience, including corporate finance advisory and commercial roles.

Eric commenced his career at BDO in Brisbane, where he advised on various corporate finance engagements, including M&A advisory, valuations, transaction services and strategic reviews, with deal sizes ranging from $5m to $200m+ across both private and public markets.

Subsequently, Eric spent over 3 years as the CFO of a private equity backed SME, ATP Science. In this hands-on role, he focused on capital raising, growth strategy execution and supporting exit strategy development.

Eric is a qualified accountant with CPA Australia, holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Associate

Angus Briggs

Angus joined TCA from Deloitte’s M&A Transaction Services team, where he provided financial due diligence and other transaction support services.

He brings over 4 years of ‘Big 4’ accounting experience and is a qualified CA with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Bond University.

Senior Analyst

Edward Brown

Prior to Joining TCA Partners, Edward spent over 3 years with PwC, working within the M&A Transaction Diligence team and External Audit teams.

Edward holds a CA ANZ Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland.

Catherine Aji
Analyst

Catherine Aji

Prior to joining TCA Partners, Catherine has gained experience at Queensland Treasury Corporation, Morgans Financial Limited and Palladium. Catherine is currently completing a Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics at the University of Queensland.
